Asset Transfers Analyst (15 month FTC) London (GB)

Business Unit:

The Custody Services Team, comprising 36 staff, provides support services for Investment/Wealth Asset Managers and clients. It includes teams such as Trade Support, Data Management, Corporate Actions, and Tax & Operations Control.

Within this unit, the Transfers Team manages all client transfer processes, including ISA/JISA onboarding and subscriptions.

Role Objective:

The main responsibilities include:

• Supporting client account transfers in/out of the firm efficiently and accurately.
• Managing asset transfers across products like GIA, ISA, SIPP, OIB.
• Monitoring transfer progress and liaising with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Facilitating quick management of client assets by supporting transfer processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arranging asset transfers, ensuring records reflect these accurately.
• Collaborating with Settlements and Client Services to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Updating Front Office on transfer statuses.
• Recording and distributing key management information.
• Supporting the Transfers Manager and participating in system improvements.
• Contributing to process enhancements and troubleshooting issues.

Your profile

Skills and Competencies:

• Experience in asset transfers within a UK Wealth Manager or Stockbroker.
• Knowledge of ISA processes.
• Team player with good organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive and creative approach to challenges.
• Ability to propose process improvements.
• Self-motivated.

IT Skills:

• Desirable: Experience with FNZ Wealth Asset Management platform Figaro.
• Desirable: Experience with Equisoft (Altus) platform.
