Job Description

Planner Asset Management – Region / Division: Ashton Under-Lyne; Business Unit: Asset Management.

Our 600‑strong Asset Management team delivers first‑class property‑based services, from reactive and planned maintenance to refurbishments, estate services and building safety.

You will join the Responsive Resource and Planning Team which supports delivery of responsive repairs and planning for a squad of 80 technicians. Working closely with 8 responsive planners and a wider group of 27 within Asset Management, the role requires enthusiasm, organisation, dynamism, motivation and a customer‑focused attitude.

The team provides cover between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday and is involved in passing out work to technicians during out‑of‑hours service.

Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of responsive repairs and planning activities.
  • Provide coverage for the 8am–6pm Monday‑Friday shift.
  • Pass out work orders to technicians, including those on out‑of‑hours service.

Competitive holiday package (24 days + 3 days for Christmas closure in a 5‑day working week, bank holidays, and additional days after two years continuous service, up to a maximum of 5 days).
