Farnell, an Avnet company, is a global high-service distributor of technology products, services and solutions for electronic system design, maintenance and repair. Our team in Leeds, West Yorkshire are looking for an Asset Operations Specialist.
This is a flexible, hybrid working role, giving you the work-life balance to work from home 2 days and from the office 3 days. We are looking for a qualified or part-qualified purchasing professional, with experience in purchasing, supplier delivery performance, order management and logistics.
You will be responsible for mitigating risk and enabling profitability. Aligns purchases with the business strategies and financial goals.
This role is for an inquisitive minded and highly organised individual who can work collaboratively as part of a busy team and build strong relationships with wider stakeholders.
The role has a core of routine work that must be delivered consistently, but every day can be different.
