Job summary

J.P. Morgan Asset Management seeks a Portfolio Manager, Vice President, to join the International Equities Group's Global Core Team in EMEA. You will support senior PMs, contribute to portfolio construction, and engage with clients and research teams to drive investment outcomes.

The role requires extensive public equity experience, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset to thrive within a global, performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive investing experience (>5 years in public equity investing) with CFA or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of fundamental equity investing including company modelling and drivers of investment process.
• Excellent communication skills (written, visual and verbal) for client communication.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment collaborating with other portfolio managers and analysts.
• Deep intellectual curiosity, mental agility and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior Portfolio Managers with all aspects of managing the Global Core Strategies.
• Work closely with Global Research analysts on stock ideas and advocate ideas for inclusion in portfolios.
• Contribute to portfolio construction decisions through insightful portfolio analysis.

• Handle day-to-day portfolio management including preparing orders and client activity instructions.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist senior Portfolio Managers with all aspects of managing the Global Core Strategies: Global Select, Global Focus, Global Dividend. This includes:
• Working closely with Global Research analysts on stock ideas and advocating ideas for inclusion in portfolios
• Contributing to portfolio construction decisions through insightful portfolio analysis
• Working closely with Investment Specialist team on client communication
• Day to day portfolio management including preparing orders and instructing portfolio actions from client activity such as cashflows

Skills required:

• Extensive investing experience (>5 years in public equity investing) with CFA or equivalent
• Strong understanding of fundamental equity investing including company modelling, corporate strategy and the drivers of differentiated investment process
• Excellent communication skills (written, visual and verbal) for effective idea advocacy and client communication
• Ability to thrive in a team environment collaborating with, and learning from, other portfolio managers and analysts
