Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform scheduled care and maintenance tasks at a Nuclear Licensed Site. You will apply cleanliness classifications, manage zoning controls, and ensure preservation tasks are executed according to the project C&M Plan.

You will implement FME provisions, conduct inspections, and maintain records for LTQR. The role requires familiarity with RCC-M F6000 cleanliness requirements and NN B preservation standards, and prior experience at Hinkley Point

Qualifications

• Experience performing scheduled care and maintenance per project plan.
• Familiarity with preservation processes and environmental controls.
• Experience on Nuclear Licensed Site preferable.

Main Responsibilities

• Maintenance Execution: Perform scheduled care and maintenance tasks in accordance with the project C&M Plan and specific component requirements.
• Cleanliness & Zoning: Apply and maintain cleanliness classifications and zoning controls, ensuring site cleanliness procedures are followed at the coalface.
• Preservation Application: Execute physical preservation tasks, including the application of protective covers, sealing, and managing environmental controls like humidity and temperature.
• FME Compliance: Implement and maintain Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) provisions to prevent contamination or damage to components.
• Inspections & Monitoring: Conduct regular physical inspections of stored and installed components to identify and report any signs of degradation, contamination, or damage.
• Record Keeping: Complete and submit accurate maintenance logs, inspection reports, and preservation records to the C&M Lead for inclusion in the Lifetime Quality Records (LTQR).
• Standards Awareness: Familiarity with RCC-M F6000 cleanliness requirements and NNB preservation standards.
• Project Knowledge: Prior experience working at Hinkley Point C or a similar Nuclear Licensed Site.
