Job summary

A local authority is seeking an experienced Asset Management Analyst (Energy) to join their team on a 12-month temporary contract. This full-time position requires work on site for 4 days a week. Responsibilities include managing EPC consultants, analyzing the housing portfolio for investment opportunities, and maintaining accurate asset management data. Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, experience using Excel and Power BI, and a background in asset management or real estate analysis. Competitive daily rate of £150 - £200.

Asset Management Analyst (Energy)

Location: Harlow

Contract: Full Time, Temporary (12 Months)

Salary: £150 - £200 per day

A local authority in Harlow is seeking an experienced Asset Management Analyst (Energy) to join their team on a 12-month temporary contract. This is a full-time position requiring 4 days per week on site.

Harlow offers a great working environment with strong transport links to the M11, M25, London, and Stansted Airport.

Role Responsibilities
  • Manage EPC consultants to ensure compliance with minimum energy efficiency standards
  • Analyse the housing portfolio to assess asset performance and identify investment opportunities
  • Maintain accurate data within the organisation's asset management system (MRI Asset)
  • Produce reports for senior management, presenting findings and recommendations
  • Validate and interpret EPC/SAP outputs for asset management and compliance
  • Identify gaps and opportunities to improve energy performance across the housing stock
Skills & Experience Required
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel and Power BI
  • Background in asset management or real estate analysis (preferred)
  • Understanding of social housing regulations and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with asset data systems such as MRI, Orchard, or Sava Intelligent Energy (desirable)
