An international food manufacturer is seeking an Asset Maintenance Manager for their York Factory. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, ensuring the plant operates efficiently while meeting quality and safety standards. The candidate should have experience in the food manufacturing industry and a diploma in engineering. The position offers a competitive salary of £55,000, generous benefits including a pension scheme and flexible working options.

Salary Circa £55,000 Depending on Experience, + Car Allowance + potential bonus + generous pension scheme + 12 flexible days on top of 25-day holiday entitlement + 2 paid volunteering days + other fantastic benefits!

We have an opportunity for an Asset Maintenance Manager at our Confectionery factory in York, Yorkshire. This role is responsible to lead, guide and motivate the engineering team to ensure the plant is available to produce our fantastic products on time whilst meeting all quality and safety requirements.
Nestlé York Factory is the home of the iconic confectionery brand Kit Kat amongst several other well-known brands such as Aero, Milky bar and Yorkie. These are produced through controlled process plant and automated filling and packing lines.
Reporting into the Factory Engineering Manager this role will manage and support the activities of the maintenance team to meet both Production and Engineering demands and ensure that priority work is completed promptly whilst conforming to all Nestlé Health and Safety requirements and current legislation.
You will take responsibility in developing a culture of pro‑activity where people take pride and responsibility in what they do.
