Job Title: Asset & ITFM Manager
Location: Uttoxeter, United Kingdom (Onsite Full-Time)
Day Rate: £300 - £350 (Inside IR35)

Note: Due to limited public transport links to the site, this role requires candidates to hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle

We’re seeking an experienced Asset & IT Financial Management (ITFM) Manager to take ownership of IT asset lifecycle management, financial control, and supplier governance across a complex enterprise environment. This is a hands‑on role ensuring quality, accuracy, and transparency of IT assets and associated financial processes.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of IT Asset Management, IT Financial Management, and Supplier Management expertise, alongside strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets (hardware and software) from acquisition through to retirement, ensuring compliance with internal processes and governance.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of IT inventory, licences, warranties, and service agreements.
• Ensure financial accuracy across IT cost allocations, recharges, and budget submissions (monthly, quarterly, annually).
• Analyse and reconcile software licence compliance positions, identifying optimisation and cost‑saving opportunities.
• Maintain and update spend reports, supplier contracts, and renewal data to support accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Support the migration of the asset database from Lotus Notes to ManageEngine.
• Manage key supplier relationships and oversee performance reviews and service delivery.
• Develop and maintain asset management policies, standards, and procedures.
• Produce financial and asset management reports for senior stakeholders.

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Experience in a similar role within IT Asset Management, IT Financial Management, or Service Management.
• Strong understanding of IT asset lifecycles, software licence compliance, and recharging/cost allocation models.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and third‑party delivered services.
• Knowledge of ManageEngine (or similar tools) highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Lotus Notes, Microsoft 365, and IT financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience working in a global or enterprise‑scale organisation.
• ITIL v3/v4 certification or equivalent practical experience preferred.
