Are you a results‑driven Manager with a strong background in Asset Management systems and a knack for successful delivery? Join our Asset Intelligence and Innovation Team and manage the critical process of transforming our asset management systems. We're integrating new digital water platforms and leveraging innovative technologies in GIS, data analytics, and machine learning to build the asset management capabilities of the future. This is a management role focused on the execution and oversight of strategic system initiatives. You will lead a small team of system experts responsible for the continuous enhancement of our existing asset management systems and the successful embedding of new digital services. What You'll Do
  • Lead and Support a Team – Provide direction, coaching, and support to System Owners, ensuring high performance and successful delivery of system enhancements.
  • Coordinate System Delivery – Oversee implementation of system improvements and new digital platforms, aligned with programme roadmaps and business priorities.
  • Collaborate Across Teams – Work with internal technology teams, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure systems are integrated and delivering value.
  • Embed New Digital Services – Establish and sustain processes for new digital water platforms and services.
  • Ensure Quality and Compliance – Guarantee all changes meet requirements and that platforms are secure and fit for purpose.
  • Support Innovation – Partner with programme and innovation leads to deliver fast‑track and strategic projects.

You’ll be based at our Head Office in Coventry. You’ll work within our Asset Intelligence and Innovation team. With this being such a critical role, we're looking for someone who can join us 37 hours a week and travel may be required you'll have to hold a full U.K driving licence.

Qualifications
  • Solid experience in systems management, ideally in asset‑intensive or regulated environments.
  • Proven track record of delivering system improvements and working with technical and operational teams.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Collaborative and supportive leadership style.
Desirable
  • Familiarity with GIS, SaaS platforms, or AI/ML tools.
  • Experience managing vendors and system integrations.
  • Understanding of data governance and compliance.
