Job summary

SGN seeks an Asset Data Manager to lead data governance, analytics, and regulatory compliance across its network of assets. You will manage data systems, drive insights, and mentor a small team to turn asset data into actionable intelligence for maintenance and risk management.

You will bridge engineering and IT/data functions, overseeing systems like Maximo, SQL databases, and Power BI dashboards while ensuring statutory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience extracting, cleansing, structuring, and joining multi-source data.
• Ability to build interactive dashboards and tell data stories to varied audiences.
• Understanding of asset management, engineering workflows, and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee data governance and maintain data integrity across the estate.
• Develop predictive risk scoring models and maintenance optimization workflows.
• Lead data collaboration between engineering, asset records, and regulators.
• Manage a team including coaching and performance management.
