Job summary

Berneslai Homes in Barnsley is seeking an organised Asset Administration Support Officer to assist the Asset Management Team with administration and coordination of asset projects, and help prepare strategies, reports and bids.

You will be a key contact for tenants on schemes, ensuring clear information, handling enquiries, and supporting meetings and documentation within agreed timescales. A background in administrative support and good customer service is essential.

Qualifications

  • 4 GCSEs A-C or NVQ Level 2 / BTec First Certificate or can demonstrate relevant experience.
  • Experience of providing administrative support in busy environment including maintaining accurate records.
  • Experience of working in and delivering an excellent customer focused service.
  • Understanding of current Housing issues and the impact on social housing tenants.
  • Demonstrate a positive, flexible approach to team working.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with tenants and residents as required to advise on day to day operation of Asset Management Team Projects including core Barnsley Homes Standard and supplementary Capital Investment Programmes.
  • Have the knowledge to resolve and direct enquiries to the relevant persons accordingly.
  • Assist in the collation of asset and tenant satisfaction and performance data and the distribution of specific information for proposed Asset Management projects or schemes for customers, officers or other stakeholders.
  • Deal with routine telephone enquiries and correspondence from tenants, residents and officers, providing advice, support and signposting where appropriate across the organisation.
  • Monitor and distribute the Asset Management online e-post in a timely manner in line with agreed timescales.
  • Organise and co-ordinate meetings, diaries and appointments for the Asset Management function. Where required ensuring accurate meetings / action notes are completed and relevant meeting papers are distributed within agreed timescales.

The Asset Administration Support Officer role:

We're looking for an organised and motivated Asset Administration Officer to support the work of our busy Asset Management Team.


Within this role you will assist with the administration and coordination of asset-related projects whilst supporting the preparation of strategies, reports, and bids for resources.
