Assessor Trainer in Electrical Installation

Location: Cambridgeshire
Contract Type: Full-Time Permanent
Salary: 30,000 - 37,000 + Package

As a Trainer Assessor in Electrical Installation, you will train apprentices, carry out assessments, and support their progress. You will also keep clear records, work with employers, and follow current industry and safety standards, within a collaborative college that provides solid teaching and modern facilities across its campuses.

Role Responsibilities
  • Delivering high-quality training and support
  • Conducting workplace assessments and reviews
  • Monitoring and recording apprentice progress
  • Guiding apprentices through End Point Assessment preparation
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with employers
  • Contributing to business development initiatives
  • Keeping up to date with industry standards and Health & Safety
  • Maintaining comprehensive documentation and records
Essential Requirements
  • A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Domestic and Commercial Electrical Installation
  • Substantial, relevant industry experience
  • An Assessor and/or IQA qualification (desirable)
  • Experience in teaching or assessing
  • Strong knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and EPA requirements
  • Professional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confidence using IT systems and digital tools
  • Flexibility and a collaborative mindset
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle insured for business use or the means to be able to get to locations covering Cambridgeshire and neighbouring counties.
