We're looking for a committed and enthusiastic Assessor/Trainer in Engineering to join our outstanding team. In this hands‑on role, you'll train and assess Engineering Apprentices, full-cost learners, and full-time students – playing a vital role in helping them progress confidently into employment and beyond.

Job Title: Assessor/Trainer in Engineering
About the Role:
  • Deliver high‑impact training and assessment to a range of engineering learners.
  • Support apprentices and students as they develop technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Maintain and manage engineering workshops to ensure they are safe, functional and fully equipped.
  • Collaborate with teaching and support staff to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Education to level 3 or above and/or a professional qualification in a relevant subject area or equivalent.
  • Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (GCSE 4+ or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O‑Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent).
  • Assessor/Verifier Awards.
Essential Experience:
  • Significant industrial experience in an engineering & manufacturing environment.
