Job summary

Chichester College Group in Brighton is seeking an Assessor for T Level Early Years to support students, assess their progress, and apply industry expertise in real work environments.

You will collaborate with employers to meet learners’ needs, coordinate assessments, and ensure compliance with awarding body requirements. Hybrid working opportunities are available, with flexible arrangements to suit caring responsibilities or study commitments.

Qualifications

  • Recent vocational experience in the Early Years sector.
  • Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years.
  • Level 3 Assessor Award (TAQA or equivalent) or willingness to gain.
  • Experience of using a range of assessment techniques to track, monitor and report on students’ progress.

Responsibilities

As our Assessor in T Level Early Years, you will:
  • Support students in developing their knowledge, skills, and behaviours throughout their programme, while assessing their ability to apply these skills within a real working environment
  • Use your industry expertise to help shape the next generation of Early Years professionals, applying theoretical and practical learning in practical work environments
  • Collaborate with colleagues and employers to meet learners’ needs and achieve their potential
  • Effectively participate in, and comply with, all administrative aspects of awarding body requirements where required, alongside the College Quality Assurance and evaluation processes
