A leading organization in the accreditation and compliance sector is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Assessment Manager to join its team focused on Corporate Sustainability, Validation, and Verification.

Role Overview

As an Assessment Manager, you will play a key role in supporting organizations through the accreditation process in the growing field of sustainability and environmental assurance.

You will be responsible for:

  • Selecting appropriate assessment teams.
  • Establishing and managing assessment methodologies.
  • Leading assessments and coordinating team efforts.
  • Compiling detailed reports and ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Managing assessment projects from start to finish.
Qualifications
  • Practical experience and a broad understanding of Corporate Sustainability and its application in industry.
  • Strong working knowledge of ISO / IEC 17021 and / or ISO / IEC 17029, including hands-on implementation.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Prior experience in auditing or assessment at an organizational level.
  • A value-adding approach and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A degree in a relevant discipline is desirable, though equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
Additional Details

This is a home-based role, requiring frequent travel throughout the UK, including regular overnight stays.
