Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturing company in Flintshire is seeking an Assembly and Test Operative. The role involves preparing and assembling electronic circuit cards while adhering to strict inspection and safety guidelines. Candidates should demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. Experience with computer use is a plus. Responsibilities

• Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including PPE requirements.
• Be flexible and willing to learn in all areas of assembly and test.

Assembly and Test Operative

Location: Flintshire

Salary: £26185

Work hours: 37 per week (7am-4:15pm, Mon-Thurs)

We are now seeking to recruit an Assembly and Test operative for a manufacturing aerospace company based in Flintshire. The appropriate candidate would be responsible for the assembly and test of electrical assemblies, from a kit of parts to final inspection.

Responsibilities

• The preparation and assembly of electronic circuit cards, following all work instructions, requirements & company policies.
• Complete self‑inspection & inspection of others' work to IPC‑610.
• Follow instructions in relation to recording data, to ensure product traceability is always maintained.
• Follow strict health and safety guidelines, including the wearing of all specified PPE.
• Flexibility & willingness to learn / training in all areas of assembly & test.

Job Requirements

• Strong and demonstrable attention to detail in the assembly and testing of electrical circuit assemblies.
• Ability to follow clear manufacturing instructions for the preparation, assembly & test of electronic assemblies.
• Must have good written and oral skills.
• Experience of computer use an advantage.
