Assembly & Soldering Technician

Location: Driffield area

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday

Staffpower Group is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our leading manufacturing client in the Driffield area. We’re seeking a skilled and motivated Assembly & Soldering Technician to join their dedicated production team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands‑on soldering and assembly experience who takes pride in producing high‑quality electrical and mechanical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out precision soldering of electrical components and wiring to a high standard.
  • Assemble electrical and mechanical components according to technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Perform wiring, potting, cable preparation, and mechanical fitting tasks.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct quality inspection and functional testing of finished products.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet production targets.
  • Support final product quality assurance and testing processes.
About You
  • Previous experience in assembly, soldering, or manufacturing preferred.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail, particularly in soldering small components.
  • Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions or technical drawings.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Punctual, reliable, and safety‑conscious.
  • Able to work confidently on intricate or varied product lines.
  • Due to the site location, a full UK driving licence and own transport are required.
