Roles and Responsibilities
  • Assembly Operative – Use hand and air tools to assemble components, work safely to TAKT times and quality standards, complete repetitive tasks in some stages, working on a production line supporting the build of large machinery.
  • Paint Plant Operative – Warehouse and production duties, jig, load, mask and unload to production requirements according to process instructions using a computer system, use of cranes (training will be provided), following a cycle time.
  • Paint Sprayer – Wet paint and powder coating, priming parts, spraying at a high quality, painting of all parts to high standards (on a moving line, speed 13ft per minute), change equipment as per standardised work requirements, rework rejected parts to high quality standards.
  • Logistics Operative – Drive counterbalance or reach trucks (role predominantly truck‑based, may require work away from the truck from time to time), transport materials throughout the facility to the point of use, general warehouse duties, manual handling, use handheld scanners to locate and identify products, conduct pre‑operation safety check on your vehicle, decant deliveries and pick parts.
  • Shipping Operative – Preparing worktools for shipment, crane work to load parts into packaging, loading/driving trucks for shipment, using tooling to prepare loads for shipping.
  • Hose Plant Operative – Cutting hydraulic hose length requirements and fitting couplings, understanding, maintaining accuracy and updating any operation metrics as applicable, working within a mechanical environment, carrying out touch‑up duties where and when required.

Pay & Hours

Average of 37.5 hours per week (can flex dependant on requirements).

AM Shift: £13.30 per hour. After 6 months: £14.02 per hour.

Monday‑Thursday – Start 06:30/07:00, Finish 15:30/16:30.
Friday – Start 06:30/07:00, Early finish 10:00 or 12:00.

OR
Monday 05:30 – 14:30
Tuesday‑Thursday 06:00 – 14:30
Friday 06:00 – 11:00

PM Shift: £15.96 per hour. After 6 months: £16.82 per hour.

Monday‑Wednesday – Start 16:30, Finish 02:30
Thursday – Start 16:30, Finish 02:00
Friday – off.

OR
Monday‑Thursday – Start 14:00/15:30, Finish 22:30/00:15
Friday – Start 10:30/11:15, Finish 15:30/15:45

NIGHT Shift: £18.07 per hour. After 6 months: £19.00 per hour.

Monday 21:15 – 06:30
Tuesday‑Thursday 22:00 – 06:30
Friday 17:30 – 22:30
