Overview

Gi Group are looking for Assembly Operatives to work for a worldwide manufacturer within the production department of their Cheltenham (GL51) site.

Job Details
  • £12.21 per hour, paid weekly
  • Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm
  • Friday: EARLY FINISH: 8am - 1pm
  • Temp with potential to be permanent
  • 30 minute lunch break + 15 minute additional break
  • Dexterity based
  • Based on a production line, assembling goods. Using drills, rivets, clamps, and other hand tools to assist with the build.
  • Full induction provided - Manual handling training, HSE training.
  • Steel toe cap boots required for site

Main Responsibilities
  • Assembling components and ensuring parts are fitted correctly, using the correct equipment required, for example clamp or hand drill.
  • Ensuring workspace is clean and complying with health and safety standards
  • Performing preventative maintenance, reporting, and resolving any faults or assembly line issues.
  • Complying with industry and company health and safety standards
Skills required
  • Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, under pressure
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent Communication
  • Knowledge of machinery desirable
  • Experience in production or assembly desirable
