Job summary

Recruit4staff is seeking an Assembly Operative to join a leading manufacturing company in Chester. You will be responsible for assembling metal frames and boxes that surround electrical equipment, and for fitting steel cupboard type boxes, doors, hinges, and related components.

Typical shifts are 8:00–16:30 Monday to Thursday and 06:00–13:00 Friday. This is a temp to permanent opportunity, with experience in an assembly environment and the ability to read engineering drawings required.

Qualifications

• Experience in an assembly environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Previous experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal frames and boxes surrounding electrical equipment.
• Fit steel cupboard-type boxes, doors, hinges, etc.

For the successful Assembly Operative client is offering:

• 8am - 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday
• 6am to 1pm on Friday
• Temp to Perm opportunity

The role – Assembly Operative:

• Assembling metal frames and boxes that surround electrical equipment
• Fitting steel cupboard type boxes, doors, hinges etc.
• Bending metal, Riveting, drilling, bolting
• Using hand and power tools

• Previous experience in a similar role
