Job summary

Adecco Group UK & Ireland is recruiting an Assembly Operative in Braintree to join a busy manufacturing team. Training pays £13.50 per hour, rising to £14.00 after training, with day shifts during training and late shifts after training.

You will assemble products, use soldering irons with full training provided, pack and palletise, check quality and support warehouse tasks. Prior manufacturing experience is welcome but not essential; you should be reliable, detail‑oriented and physically fit.

• Good manual dexterity and careful attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Reliable and committed with a good work ethic.
• Manufacturing, assembly or warehouse experience is beneficial but not required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Working within a production environment assembling products.
• Using soldering irons (full training provided, no previous experience required).
• Packing, palletising and preparing goods for dispatch.
• Quality checking products.
• General production and warehouse duties.

What We're Looking For

• Good dexterity and attention to detail.
• Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet throughout the shift.
• Able to carry out regular bending, twisting and moving around the production area.
• Reliable and committed with a good work ethic.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly or warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential.
