Terex is seeking an Assembly Fitter for its Terex Farlough site in the United Kingdom. The role involves working on an assembly line to fit components for Custom Plants and Crushing Equipment, with hours Monday to Thursday 7.30-4.30 and Friday 7.30-12.30.

Ideal candidates will have previous fast-moving manufacturing experience, strong teamwork and problem-solving skills, together with knowledge of health and safety procedures and fitting experience.

We are hiring for a Assembly Fitter, who will be working a team environment manufacturing Custom Plants and Crushing Equipment.

Main duties and responsibilities

• Assembly line fitting
• Use of power and manual tooling
• Reading and understanding of engineering drawings
• Meeting set targets whilst working on the production line
• Ensuring the safe and controlled movement of production parts
• Working as part of a team to develop continuous improvement
• Safe and controlled movement of production parts
• Ability to work within a team environment and able to use own initiative
• Complying with current and future Health & Safety laws, processes and procedures
• Following Standard Work procedures.
• Any other reasonable duty as instructed
• Essential Previous experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills
• Fitting Experience
• Knowledge of H & S procedures & responsibilities.
• Desirable Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
