Location: Daventry (Commutable from Northampton, Rugby, Banbury, Towcester and surrounding areas)

Salary: £26,800 up to £35,500 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

About the Company

A manufacturing business in Daventry is seeking an Assembly Fitter to support production, painting, testing and finishing of products. The company prides itself on quality workmanship, customer standards and continuous improvement.

The Role

You will be responsible for assembling, testing, painting and finishing products to meet specification, quality and timing requirements.

Key duties include:
  • Assembling, testing, painting and finishing production batches
  • Ensuring all components are correct and present against route cards and specifications
  • Completing all documentation accurately and highlighting any issues or non-conformance
  • Demonstrating assembly techniques and maintaining a safe, professional work environment
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards
  • Adhering to Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements
  • Supporting continuous improvement activities and additional duties when required
About You

To be successful, you will have:

  • Hands‑on assembly experience
  • Technical knowledge and ability to follow specifications
  • Experience using Laser marking
  • Skills in masking, finishing and painting desirable but not essential
  • Good communication skills to liaise with different departments
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • A proactive approach to learning and responsibility
