Job summary

A leading engineering company in Aylesbury is seeking experienced Assembly / Fabrication Technicians for night shifts. The role involves fabrication, brazing, and assembly of heat exchangers and related components. Ideal candidates have proven experience in mechanical assembly, can interpret technical drawings, and are reliable. This is a 1-month rolling contract expected to continue until December 2025, with hourly pay starting at £30.00.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fabrication and mechanical assembly, ideally with heat exchangers or similar products.
• Experience in brazing (copper/brass/steel).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings.

Assembly / Fabrication Technician - Nights

Rate: £30.00 per hour

PAYE: £22.59 + £2.72 holiday pay = £25.32ph

Hours: Nights: Monday to Thursday, 6:00pm - 6:00am

Location: Aylesbury

Duration: 1-month rolling contract (expected to run until December 2025)

Duties

• Assembly and fabrication of heat exchangers and sub-assemblies
• Brazing and fitting of copper, brass, and stainless components
• Working from engineering drawings and schematics
• Use of hand and power tools for precision assembly
• Performing quality checks and ensuring all work meets specifications
• Supporting general workshop and production activities as required

Requirements

• Proven experience in fabrication and mechanical assembly, ideally with heat exchangers or similar products
• Experience in brazing (copper/brass/steel)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work to production targets
• Successful candidates will need to attend a site induction and Health and Safety briefing prior to start date
