Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an experienced Assembly / Fabrication Technician to work in Aylesbury. You will be involved in the assembly and fabrication of heat exchangers, requiring precision and experience in brazing. This is a 1-month rolling contract with a pay rate of £19.58 per hour plus holiday pay. Candidates must have proven fabrication experience and the ability to work from technical drawings.

Rate: Ltd Co: £26.00 per hour

PAYE: £19.58 + £2.36 holiday pay = £21.94ph

Hours: 6am - 2pm, Monday to Friday

Location: Aylesbury

Duration: 1-month rolling contract (expected to run until December 2025)

Our client in Aylesbury is looking for experienced Assembly / Fabrication Technicians to join their busy workshop team. The work involves fabrication, brazing, and assembly of heat exchangers and related components.

Duties

• Assembly and fabrication of heat exchangers and sub-assemblies
• Brazing and fitting of copper, brass, and stainless components
• Working from engineering drawings and schematics
• Use of hand and power tools for precision assembly
• Performing quality checks and ensuring all work meets specifications
• Supporting general workshop and production activities as required

Requirements

• Proven experience in fabrication and mechanical assembly, ideally with heat exchangers or similar products
• Experience in brazing (copper/brass/steel)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work to production targets

Successful candidates will need to attend a site induction and Health and Safety briefing prior to start date.
