Job summary

The Workshop in Portsmouth is seeking an hands-on Assembler Fitter for a temporary-to-permanent role. You will assemble and fit components to strict specifications, using hand tools and equipment, with occasional deliveries required. A full UK driving licence is essential.

You’ll work to established procedures, inspect your work for quality and collaborate with colleagues to hit production targets while maintaining a safe, tidy workspace.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in assembly, fitting or a similar hands-on role.
• Practical ability to use hand tools and relevant equipment.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to undertake occasional deliveries.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and equipment accurately to required specifications.
