A leading oil and gas company in the United Kingdom is seeking an Assembler for a 12-month contract. Responsibilities include assembling and testing oilfield completion products, troubleshooting issues, and documenting labor records. The ideal candidate will have high school education, soldering skills, and the ability to read assembly drawings. The role requires adherence to health and safety regulations and participation in lean manufacturing projects. This position offers a workweek of 35 hours with potential overtime.
Our Client, in the Oil & Gas industry, are looking for an Assembler for a 12 months contract to start as soon as possible.
Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week + potential overtime; PAYE only.
The Assembler is responsible for assembling and testing products, and for troubleshooting and resolving issues.
Basic (intermediate level preferred) level of soldering skills including awareness of solder and flux theory, and practical experience of soldering related activities such as tinning, splicing, jenkin spring, turret soldering, crimping, etc. Select correct tools, solder types and fixtures.
Minimum high school or equivalent. Vocational or trade school preferred.
