Job summary

GLF Teacher Training is seeking aspiring teachers to join the Trainee Teacher Programme based at the Didcot hub. You will gain hands-on experience across placements with Aureus Primary School and other GLF schools, with supported training routes from fee-funded to employment-based options.

The role focuses on developing classroom practice, subject knowledge, and professional growth, with entry requirements outlined for degree and residency.

Qualifications

• A UK degree or recognised equivalent qualification.
• Degree 2:2 or above (may accept a 3rd class/ordinary degree).
• Grade C/4+ in English, Maths and Science for Primary routes.
• Right to work in the UK and UK/EEA residency for the last three years.
• For employment-based training routes, classroom teaching experience is required.
• Overseas qualifications require a statement of comparability.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of lesson content under supervision.
• Support pupils' learning across key stages.
• Engage with school-based training and assessments.
• Participate in placements and training activities across GLF schools.
