Job summary

KPI Education is working with an ambitious Camden secondary school in North London to recruit a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant. You will support GCSE classes, run targeted interventions and help pupils develop confidence across Biology, Chemistry and Physics, using daily degree knowledge in a hands-on setting.

This Full-time role offers hands-on classroom experience with senior teachers and could become the first step toward teacher training for September 2027, making this a pivotal start

Qualifications

• 2:1 or First-Class degree is highly desirable.
• Ability to communicate subject effectively to teenagers.
• No prior school experience required, but enthusiasm and reliability matter.

Responsibilities

• Support GCSE and KS3 science learning across Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Lead 1:1 and small-group intervention sessions.
• Assist with practical experiments and lab activities.
• Support lesson delivery and classroom management under supervision.
• Develop confidence and classroom presence for future teacher training.
