Qualifications

  • A degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is often required or preferred.

  • Familiarity with construction methods & standard measurement rules is helpful.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing drawings to prepare estimates for costs.
  • Assisting with contract administration and ensuring compliance.
  • Monitoring project expenditure and preparing financial documents.
  • Helping with procurement and assessing quotes.
  • Assisting with preparing valuations for completed work.
  • Identifying commercial risks and communicating them.
  • Visiting construction sites to monitor progress.
