A leading educational support firm in the United Kingdom is seeking an Aspiring Psychologist for a full-time position as a Mental Health Behaviour Support Assistant. This role involves supporting vulnerable students struggling with mental health issues in an educational setting. Ideal candidates will have relevant experience or a degree in psychology, along with resilience and a positive attitude. The position offers between £85 - £95 per day and starts ASAP.

Are you looking for a role where you can work with at risk youth? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children?

  • A great opportunity has become available for a mental health behaviour support assistant, supporting children and young people with mental health and behavioural needs.
  • This is an excellent position to gain some hands on experience working directly with vulnerable students in the classroom.
  • These young students struggle with trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD and various other barriers to their learning.
  • As a mental health behaviour support assistant you will directly be involved in helping children manage and cope with their emotions and mental health whilst also being involved in their learning and development.
  • Your role will involve engaging with them and ensuring that they are receiving a good blend of their education and interventions.
  • The role as a mental health behaviour support assistant would suit someone who is resilient and confident in supporting young people with challenging mental health needs.
  • This is a great opportunity for aspiring psychologists, social workers or therapists.
  • Experience working with children in a school setting before would be beneficial but enthusiasm and a positive attitude is most important. Graduates in a relevant field will also be considered.
