Aspiring Psychologist - Mental Health Assistant

We are an amazing school in Reading looking for a Mental Health Assistant to join our team. Our school caters for students with a primary need of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and multiple co‑existing needs. Many of our students struggle with communication, behavioural, social, emotional and mental health challenges.

Your day‑to‑day role will be varied and hands‑on: you will work 1:1 with students, support them in the classroom, and help implement their individualised intervention plans. This is a great opportunity to gain experience with diverse needs across a range of ages.

Ideal Candidate

• Patient, kind, and passionate about education and mental health
• Background in psychology or education is highly desirable but not mandatory – we value enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference
