Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting Trainee Teaching Assistants to support primary schools throughout Peterlee. This is an ideal opportunity for anyone considering a long-term career in education, with chances to learn from experienced teachers and gain classroom exposure.

The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:30pm, term-time only, with September start. You will assist with reading, writing and maths, support pupils, and prepare resources while building positive relationships.

Qualifications

• All applicants require suitable qualifications and training as per Protocol Education.
• Previous experience with children is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to work well in a team and adapt to classroom settings.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom learning activities.
