Job summary

Rushden Day Nursery invites applications for an Early Years Educator Apprentice. You will be trained on the job, paired with a buddy, and work toward becoming a key person in the nursery.

You will attend training days with our training provider and the remaining days will be at your allocated nursery. You will observe, assess and plan engaging activities, uphold a safe environment, and follow nursery policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of EYFS regulatory requirements is desirable.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Passionate about learning and developing into a new role.

Responsibilities

• Assist team to provide high standards of care and education for children.
• Plan engaging activities linked to individual learning needs.
• Liaise with staff regarding children's needs and maintain a safe environment.
• Adhere to nursery policies and health and safety requirements.
• Support inclusion and participate in on-the-job training.
