Job summary

GRAHAM is looking for a Student Construction Planner to join the Planning Team within our Building Division. You will support tender analysis, master programme preparation, and labour/resource planning, while gaining hands-on experience on major construction projects.

You will learn to link 3D models to schedules, assess progress, and produce CAD-based presentations. This apprenticeship pathway offers structured learning and career development in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Currently studying or planning to undertake a higher or degree-level construction-related course.
• Good IT skills and confidence with common Microsoft packages.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in planning tasks.
• Ability to manage time, stay organised and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Interest in technology, design, or strategy (e.g. CAD).
• Willingness to learn and apply new tools and techniques in projects.
• Logical thinking and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Support the Planning team in analysing tender information and preparing programmes.
• Assist in creating master programmes and evaluating labour resources.
• Support 4D planning by linking 3D models to schedules.
• Prepare procurement and information schedules for projects.
• Help coordinate distribution of programmes and monitor progress.
• Contribute to the graphical presentations and CAD outputs.
