Asphalt Plant Operative

Location: Cavenham Asphalt Plant, Suffolk

Description

We’re currently recruiting for an Operator to join our Asphalt team based at our Cavenham Asphalt Plant.

This role is based on a 48 hour per week contract plus overtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Working in the batching office where you’ll learn to run the weighbridge and batch asphalt.
  • Operating heavy machinery such as a Loading Shovel to support our Asphalt operations.
  • Supporting your team members in a fast-paced environment.
  • Helping us to ensure compliance with environmental, health and safety policy and regulations, including manual handling and safe systems of work guidelines.
  • Adhering to best Practice Health & Safety guidelines.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices ensuring all work areas are kept clean and tidy.
