Job summary

Eurovia Surfacing in Gloucester is seeking an Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for complying with Health, Safety and Environmental policies, maintaining site records and assisting in daily plant operations to support on-site activities.

The role requires enthusiasm, reliability and the ability to work with minimal supervision, along with a full UK driving licence. You will contribute to waste reduction, cost control and a right-first-time approach while staying compliant with

Qualifications

• Follow Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
• Support cost control and maintain company property.
• Help reduce waste materials on site and Carbon footprint.
• Assist with Quality Assurance including temperature checks and daily records.
• Accurately complete daily record sheets, traffic management and plant inspection reports.
• Attend programmed training as required.
• Understand and comply with all company systems and policies.
• Carry out reasonable tasks requested by management.
• Record plant damage and defects and report immediately to Foreman.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Health, Safety and Environmental procedures on site.
• Attend training sessions as required.
• Complete daily paperwork and inspection sheets accurately.
• Maintain plant security and report defects promptly.
• Support team members to ensure works progress to schedule.
• Demonstrate initiative and professionalism in all tasks.
