Job summary

Accelerated People Management Ltd advertises an ASHP Engineer role based in Manchester. The successful candidate will lead Air Source Heat Pump installations and related domestic plumbing work across the North West, with opportunities for training, progression and a company vehicle.

Candidates should have hands-on ASHP experience, NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating (G3 Unvented) and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Proven experience carrying out domestic plumbing and heating installations, including hands-on ASHP experience.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating with G3 Unvented where applicable.
• Air Source Heat Pump BPEC qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out Air Source Heat Pump installations and related domestic plumbing works across Manchester and the North West.
• Installing and upgrading heating systems, including cylinders, radiators, pipework and components.
• Completing system testing, commissioning, fault finding and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Working independently and with the installation team to deliver high-quality heating and renewable energy projects.

The company has built a fantastic reputation delivering domestic heating, renewable energy and energy efficiency solutions, including Air Source Heat Pumps, boiler upgrades and wider property retrofit projects. With recognition for its work within the renewable heating sector, a growing pipeline of domestic installations and ambitious expansion plans, they are now looking for an experienced engineer who wants to play a key role in delivering high-quality installations and grow alongside the business.

As an ASHP Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out Air Source Heat Pump installations and associated domestic plumbing and heating works across Manchester and the North West
• Installing and upgrading heating systems, including cylinders, radiators, pipework and associated components
• Completing system testing, commissioning, fault finding and ensuring installations meet relevant industry standards
• Working independently and alongside the wider installation team to deliver high-quality domestic heating and renewable energy projects

The successful ASHP Engineer should have:

• Proven experience carrying out domestic plumbing and heating installations, including hands‑on Air Source Heat Pump experience
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating, G3 Unvented and relevant qualifications.
• Air Source Heat Pump BPEC
• Strong technical knowledge of domestic heating systems, a full UK driving licence and the ability to work independently
