Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust in Manchester is recruiting for an Aseptic Services Technician to support the production of injectable medicines for cancer patients. You will supervise technical staff, coordinate GMP training, and manage workflows in a fast-paced aseptic unit, while ensuring quality assurance and compliance with SOPs.

Qualifications

• NVQ3/BTEC in Pharmacy Services with GPhC registration as Pharmacy Technician.
• Alternatively, Aseptic Pharmaceutical Science Manufacturing Technician level 3 with Science Technician registration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technical staff including HR duties (e.g. PDRs).
• Organise the safe and efficient production of aseptically prepared products.
• Deliver full training to production staff on GMP activities.
• Coordinate operator validations and competency checks.
• Coordinate workflow and workforce for a safe, efficient service.
• Assist in audits and quality assurance tasks.
