Qualifications

• Experience in an aseptic pharmacy hospital setting.
• Competent in the safe and accurate preparation of chemotherapy, CIVAS products, and other aseptic medicines.
• Completed or willing to complete training to support learners on GPhC-accredited courses.

Responsibilities

• Organise and manage the supply of aseptically prepared medicines.
• Prepare and dispense cytotoxic chemotherapy and other aseptic medicines.
• Liaise with healthcare professionals to ensure timely medicine preparation.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Support training, competency, and accreditation in the aseptic unit.
• Ensure safe handling and disposal of cytotoxic waste.
