Job summary
The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust is seeking an Assistant Technical Officer to support the Pharmacy Aseptic Services and Cancer Services, following relocation to enhance clinical trials delivery. You will help with dispensing, receiving trial medications, filing, and temperature monitoring in the trials unit and prefill area.
Qualifications include four GCSEs including English, Maths and a Science, or Level 2 NVQ in Pharmacy Services.
Qualifications
- Four GCSEs to include English, Maths and a Science subject or equivalent.
- Computer skills are required for this role.
- NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy or equivalent is required for the role.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists in the provision of the broad range of services provided by the Aseptic Services unit working under the supervision of the Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists.
- Provides pharmacy service including dispensing drugs to patients, and other supportive duties in the pharmacy aseptic unit.
- Support the work of the Aseptic Services in the provision of an early start, late night, weekend and bank holiday service.
