Brinsworth Academy is seeking an Assistant SENDCo to join our dedicated team. You will help develop and enhance SEND support for students and families, coordinate communication between home and school, and ensure fair exam arrangements.

Salary: Band H of the School Support Staff Spine (FTE £36,581 to £39,481, Actual Salary £32,360 to £34,925)
Contract Type: Full time, 37 hours per week, Term Time only, 38 weeks + 2 INSET days.

We are seeking to appoint an Assistant SENDCo (ASENDCo) to join our dedicated and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and enhancing the support we provide to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and their families. The role will involve building positive relationships, supporting effective communication between home and school, and coordinating Exam Access Arrangements to ensure students can access assessments fairly. Our standard working hours are 8:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Friday.
