Job summary

GSL Education is seeking a Teaching Assistant in Greenwich to support pupils with a focus on ASD needs. The role runs 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, is long-term and full-time, starting September 2026. Daily rate offered is £95-£120, with duties including 1:1 support and cross-KS1/KS2 coverage.

Required DBS on update service, right to work in the UK, NI and address verification, plus 2-3 professional references. Candidates with recent primary school experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Recent primary school based experience.
• Able to support on a 1:1 basis.
• Able to be flexible and work across KS1-KS2.
• DBS registered on the update service.
• 2-3 professional references covering 2-3 years of employment history.
• Proof of right to work in the UK, NI, and address.

Responsibilities

• Support children in a primary school setting, including complex ASD needs.
• Able to support across KS1 to KS2 and adapt to varying pupil needs.
