You will work one-on-one with a learner who benefits from tailored instruction and a supportive environment. The focus may include academic tutoring, study skills, executive functioning support, emotional regulation strategies, and confidence-building.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalised, clear, and engaging lessons based on the student's needs
  • Incorporate ASD- and ADHD‑informed strategies for learning and motivation
  • Support executive functioning (organisation, planning, task initiation)
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and sensory needs
  • Communicate progress with parents/guardians
  • Create a calm, respectful, and safe learning environment
  • Experience working with individuals with ASD and/or ADHD
  • Background in education, psychology, special education, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and a patient, flexible teaching style
  • Ability to create structure and maintain positive behaviour supports
  • Reliable, organised, and committed to consistent sessions
