Title : Asbestos Work Planner
Contract Type : Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week
Salary : 32881 per annum to 36069 per annum (London weighted salary) or 28886 per annum to 31876 per annum (Regional salary) dependent on experience
Grade : 6
Reporting Office : London Stratford or Manchester Trafford
Agile Worker : 20% - 40% of contractual hours to be worked from reporting office / working location (hybrid working)

Join our Asbestos and Water Compliance Team at L&Q : This is an opportunity to join a new asbestos team that will deliver the full range of asbestos services and work to the highest standards to keep our residents, colleagues and contractors safe.
Role context : This role will be working as part of a team of planners responsible for instructing asbestos surveys, remediation works and air-monitoring. The role involves coordinating with internal stakeholders to arrange decants, isolations and other necessary logistics while also assisting the supply chain with access when required. This role will report to the Asbestos Supervisor in the operational side of the asbestos team.
Key responsibilities : Place and monitor asbestos orders and ensure the efficient delivery of asbestos works. Work with the wider organisation to achieve our goals and ensure repairs and works are completed safely and on time. Ensure compliance with the asbestos legislation, guidance and L&Q’s asbestos policy.

Your understanding of Service Level dynamics, flow of workstream implications and performance indicators
Your high level of attention to detail for information received and instructions issued and to communicate a high level of detail effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
