Job summary

Skillmatch Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Asbestos Surveyor to join a leading facilities management contractor in the UK. The role covers sampling, reinspections, management, refurbishment and demolition surveys across domestic, commercial and industrial properties, in line with HSG264 and company procedures.

You will collect site data, prepare survey reports and drawings, liaise with clients and internal teams, and promote high professional standards while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 qualification is required or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of asbestos surveying across domestic, commercial and/or industrial sectors.
• Full UK driving licence is mandatory.
• Committed to delivering high standards while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, and surveys (Management, Refurbishment and Demolition) per HSG264 and company procedures.
• Collect site data and transport asbestos samples to UKAS-accredited laboratories approved by the company.
• Prepare asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software; liaise with clients and internal teams.
