Element Materials Technology Ltd. is seeking a Field based Asbestos Analyst / Surveyor to join our team in East Kilbride, Scotland. You will perform asbestos surveys, air testing, and management tasks within industrial environments.

The role requires BOHS P402/403/404 or equivalent, willingness to travel, and a full UK driving licence. We offer 33 days holiday, pension, life assurance, and more.

Qualificações

• Proven experience on large, complex industrial surveys and asbestos enclosures.
• Experience of technical review of asbestos reports and air monitoring documentation.
• Confident with good interpersonal skills.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home in remote locations.
• Full UK driving licence essential.

Responsabilidades

• Provides technical and legislative knowledge and supports client and business requirements for asbestos surveying and asbestos management.
• Responsible for accurate and timely release of data and certification to clients, including technical review and guidance in non-routine situations.
• Oversees more complex technical problem solving activities.
• Interacts with customers on technical and legislative issues and questions.
• Provides input and support on business development opportunities with new and existing customers.
• Able to lead asbestos survey work up to industrial refurbishment and demolition surveys with minimal guidance or supervision.
• Takes initiative and decides on and implements appropriate methods and protocols.

Overview

Element has an opportunity for a Field based Asbestos Analyst / Surveyor to join our growing team based from East Kilbride, Scotland.

Our Asbestos teams are experts in their field of conducting Asbestos Surveys, Analytical Services, Asbestos Management and Air Testing as well as many other environmental services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in a challenging asbestos environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical and legislative knowledge , and supports client and business requirements for asbestos surveying and asbestos management
• Is accountable for the accurate and timely release of data and certification to clients including technical review as acceptable but will be expected to propose guidance for review in non-routine situations
• Oversees more complex technical problem solving activities
• Interacts with customers on technical and legislative issues and questions
• Provides input and support on business development opportunities with new and existing customers
• Able to lead asbestos survey work up to industrial refurbishment and demolition surveys competently and without significant guidance or supervision
• Takes initiative and, in most cases, does not need to wait for further instructionAble to decide on and implement appropriate methods and protocols

Skills / Qualifications

• As a minimum, applicant should possess BOHS P402, P403 & P404 or equivalent
• Experience in both air testing and 4 stage clearances
• Proven experience working on large, complex industrial surveys and large complex asbestos enclosures (both air monitoring support and 4SC works)
• Proven experience of technical review of asbestos reports and air monitoring documentation
• Confident approach with good interpersonal skills
• Flexible attitude with a willingness to travel and stay away from home in remote locations as required
• Full UK driving licence is essential as regular travel will be required
