Job Title: Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-known Asbestos Consultancy. They are seeking a professional Asbestos Consultant, who can hit the ground running. Applicants must have experience of working across a mixed portfolio of commercial, domestic and industrial sites. Experience / Qualifications

• Proven track record working as an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst, ideally within a UKAS accredited outfit
• Must hold the BOHS P402, P403 and P404 (or RSPH equivalents)
• Strong technical knowledge, including HSG 264 and HSG 248 guidelines
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Proficient in the use of IT software
• Comfortable liaising with clients directly

The Role

• Carrying out management, refurbishment and demolition asbestos surveys across a range of client premises
• Collecting samples from client sites for analysis
• Conducting 4 stage clearances and air monitoring, including background, smoke, leak, personal and reassurance
• Ensuring asbestos abatement projects adhere to safety guidelines
• Producing thorough technical reports
• Working across a range of asbestos removals projects
• Meeting with clients to advise on findings and to provide project updates
• Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets
• Wearing correct PPE at all times
