Our client is a national and renowned asbestos consultancy, who provide a diverse range of asbestos and environmental services to clients across the UK. They are currently recruiting for a motivated and experienced Asbestos Surveyor based in the Aberystwyth area. The ideal applicant will hold the P402 certificate and will have extensive experience in carrying out asbestos surveying duties. In return the company can offer opportunities to work on commercial, and industrial sites, as well as cross training into other sectors. Applications from Lampeter, New Quay, Barmouth, Llanidloes and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Will hold the P402 asbestos certificate or the equivalent RSPH qualification. Although consideration will be given to P402/3/4 qualified site staff.
• Experience of working in this role within the asbestos industry.
• Excellent communication skills essential.
• A good working knowledge of asbestos Health & Safety procedures/legislation.
• Competent in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Key Tasks

• Carrying out Management, Refurbishment/Demolition surveys on various properties including commercial and industrial.
• Supervising asbestos contractors on site ensuring full compliance with asbestos health and safety procedures.
• Collating and producing asbestos reports.
• Building and maintaining a professional working relationship with the company’s large portfolio of clients.
