Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking an Asbestos Surveyor to cover the Southwest region from the Swindon area. You will survey diverse premises, collect samples, and identify asbestos-containing materials to help ensure safe working environments for clients.

The role requires BOHS P402 / RPSH Level 3, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team across multiple sectors including defence, rail, and retail. Training and progression are provided.

Qualifications

• BOHS P402 / RPSH Level 3 in Asbestos Surveying
• Strong asbestos knowledge and understanding of regulations
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Asbestos Surveyor - Covering Southwest region

As SOCOTEC continues to expand, we’re looking for a reliable and committed Asbestos Surveyor to join our Environment & Safety Division and wear the badge with pride.

We’re seeking a proactive, adaptable professional who can work confidently both independently and as part of a team. In this role, you’ll be key in surveying buildings, collecting samples, and identifying asbestos-containing materials to help ensure the safety of workplaces and communities.

Your expertise will support projects across a wide range of sectors, including defence, rail, roads, power stations, retail, heritage, and service industries - giving you the chance to make a real impact every day.

The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):
